Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the recent attack on Jaffar Express and the hostage of passengers of terrorists, saying that “targeting unarmed people is not part of the Baloch traditions.”

When we talked at a session in the Balochistan assembly Wednesday, Bugti asked: “Why are we afraid to name them [elements] Who performs killing in Balochistan? “

Unknown number of militants blasted a railway track, opened fire and hijacked Jaffar Express near Bolan in Balochistan on Tuesday. The train, on the way from Quetta to Peshawar, carried over 400 passengers on a 30-hour journey.

Bugti also asked, “Should we apologize for the killing of 500 people?” He emphasized that terrorists tried to impose their ideology through violence and declared that even war had its principles. He also noticed the rich story of bravery and hospitality within the Baloch people.

The Minister of the Ministry condemned the terrorists’ actions with reference to incidents where innocent civilians, including hairdressers and laundry, were abducted and killed.

He claimed that these elements were not interested in dialogue and repeated several times during the camera that such groups would not succeed in seizing any country in Balochistan.

Bugti promised that anyone who spoke for the breakup of the state or resort to weapons would be removed. He assured that the state would protect the common Baloch people but would not tolerate those involved in the killing of innocent citizens.

In response to the attack, the Balochistan assembly adopted a decision that condemns terrorist violence presented by adviser to Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs, Meena Majeed Baloch.
