Taron Egerton clears the air about his casting as the next ‘James Bond’

‘James Bond’ casting rumors also include the names of Jacob Elordi and Henry Cavill

Taron Egerton has put the rumors straight about his casting as James Bond.

Ever since the new 007 movie was announced, the internet has been flooded with wild casting rumors, including the names of actors like Taron, Jacob Elordi, Henry Cavill, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and many more.

The Kingsman actor has addressed the matter and put an end to his casting rumors as the British spy.

While shutting down the speculation, Egerton made a brutally honest confession, saying he would never have taken on the role as he doesn’t think he’s right for it.

He told Black in an interview: “I don’t think I’m right for James Bond. I never felt it was me.”

It’s not the first time Robin Hood actor shared this opinion. Last year in July, Taron told Collider that he thinks he’s too messy for the role.

The Welsh actor, who is personally a big fan of Craig’s Bond period, stated that “there are so many cool, younger actors who would be good for it. I think it would be wasted on me.”

His point of view gives a clear indication that he really cares about the casting of the next 007 actor, rather than his own career growth.
