Kansas City Chiefs’ first match was without Taylor Swift present.
Swift, now engaged to Chiefs Star, tight end Travis Kelce, reportedly did not travel to São Paulo, Brazil to see Kansas City’s seasonal opener against Los Angeles Chargers, pr. TMZ.
It is not too much of a shock that Swift is not at the game, considering the travel obligation needed to watch the game at the Neo Química Arena Friday night.

And given her popularity, security measures might have been too much and it would be safer for her to look from home instead.
Of course, Swift is missing, considering the huge news of her engagement with Kelce, as the celebrity savings announced the news via Instagram before the start of the season.

Kelce and Swift participated in a Cincinnati Bearcats game last week at Geha Field at Arrowhead Stadium, and Kelce said it was the first time he introduced Swift as his fiancé. Kelce said it was his first time that introduced her like his fiancé and added that “it was pretty cool.”
Kelce started his 13th season with Chiefs on Friday night, and while everyone is focused on wedding details for him and Swift, rumors of retirement are likely to continue, as they have done in previous seasons. He admitted that he was considering pension after the Super Bowl Lix loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but he quickly decided to play in 2025.

While Swift is not present for this game, she is likely to be in the Kansas City building to see the Super Bowl -Rematch against Eagles on September 14.
