Taylor Swift opened on Wednesday about how Kansas City Chief’s head coach Andy Reid and others affected her to eventually date superstar tight end Travis Kelce.
In 2023, Reid said he was the one who had set up the two and admitted to Outkick that while he had joked about it at the time, he suggested Slu, it was a little true. Swift talked more about how Reid and others close to Kelce had been in her ear about the potential romance.

“When you guys sent the full send on the podcast and he was like,” Will you go out with me? “And everyone heard it, it was’ Shooting Your Shot Heard ‘Round the World’. Basically, everyone who likes you (Travis), who are many people, started to reach out to everyone who knows me,” she said at “new heights.”
“I think it was like Andy was to guard, I think it was my relatives, my cousins, they were like ‘please please, please, he’s amazing.’ There were friends who were like, ‘he’s actually an amazing guy, he’s so big.’ There were a lot of kinds of people whispering in my ear about you.
The romance flourished from there, but it was the original relationship between Reid and Swift’s father, Scott, who laid the basis for her future.
Swift grew up in Pennsylvania and a relationship was hit between Reid and Scott Swift as the main coach was at the helm of Philadelphia Eagles.

“He has been friends with my dad,” she said of Reid. “My dad is the most social man ever born. He’s just a madman. He would have a friend at an airport in 1971, have a five -minute conversation and still talk to that guy twice a week, now. But he’s like that he meets. He’s able to have very many, very meaningful relationships. It’s a skill.
“So he knows Andy, and Andy has come to shows for years and similar things. So I’ve always had a really positive atmosphere about Andy Reid. I didn’t really know what the sports he did, but I knew it was my father’s friend Andy Reid. I know now he’s the most iconic, legendary coach at all times.”
Swift had very kind words to say about the long -standing head coach and his leadership skills.
