Kansas City Chiefs Star Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift announced on Tuesday that they are engaged after only two years of dating.
Swift published photos of the proposal. The pictures showed a flowering arrangement in a forest setting and Kelce on one knee that seems to be asking Swift to marry him.

“Your English teacher and your gymnastics teacher marry,” she wrote the carousel with photos.
Kelce and Swift’s relationship had been a focal point of the NFL season since she appeared for Arrowhead Stadium to support Chief’s tight end against Chicago Bears. Since then, Swift routinely participated in games in Kansas City and was there two years ago to watch Chiefs go to the Super Bowl.
Graice Hunt, daughter of Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, weighed in.
“Travis and Taylor’s commitment is the kind of news that makes the world feel a little brighter,” she told Pakinomist Digital. “It’s happy that they step into a lifetime together.”

Swift appeared on Travis and Jason Kelces “New Heights” podcast recently and opened up his relationship with the NFL star.

She received her share of criticism for being the focal point of NFL broadcasts throughout the first season she was at Arrowhead Stadium. Spotlight tapered ever so little in 2024.
In an interview with Time Magazine in 2023, she said she had “no attention” on the opportunity to make male sports fans a little disturbed by her performance on their TVs.
“I’m just there to support Travis,” she said at the time. “I have no attention if I will be shown too much and piss a few dads, brads and chads.”

Swift is likely to be back in the stadium this year to see if Kansas City can come back to the Super Bowl for the fourth straight time – this time with a dazzling engagement ring.
