Joe Alwyn recently shared a funny childhood incident that brought the police to his door.

During his performance at Drew Barrymore Show, Joe recalled a prank he pulled at age 8 with his brother.

The actor told Drew that he and his older brother decided to trick their neighbors by writing fake threatening letters dipped in the toy store’s fake blood.

“When I was about 8 years old, I thought it would be a fun idea to prank the neighbors. And I wrote some letters. They were funny, but they were of the threatening-prank kind, and they were dipped in fake blood from a toy store,” he recalled. The duo “ran up and down the road” to put the letters.

Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend also went on to reveal that “The street … quickly filled up with the whole neighborhood crying and screaming and worried and understandably they had called the police and Scotland Yard was on their way. Police cars appeared on the road because they has a murderer to catch.”

He added: “At this point I’m thinking I’m going to jail. About three policemen came into the house, we had to confess our crime and they stood over me and my brother and because he’s 18 months older… it was the one who took the head off it.”

“I don’t remember what the policeman yelled at me, but they yelled,” the actor added hilariously.

It is worth mentioning that Joe is currently busy promoting his latest film, The Brutalist. Known for keeping his personal life private, Joe recently opened up about focusing on friends, family and work following his breakup with Taylor.
