Farmingdale, new – Rory McIlroy will do everything he can to get Americans to disturb this weekend.
The reigning Masters Master will represent Team Europe on Bethpage Black this weekend as he plays in his eighth Ryder Cup.
McIlroy was part of the last team that won a Road Ryder Cup in 2012, and he certainly hopes to repeat the story, in fact he predicted it shortly after Europe’s victory over Team USA two years ago.

However, McIlroy talked about his appreciation of what he called “the best country in the world.”
“Everyone would do it in America,” McIlroy said of his thoughts about the United States as a child. “That’s the opportunity for opportunities. And I still think it’s the best country in the world and if you come here and work hard and dedicate yourself, you can be or do whatever you want.

McIlroy, a native in Northern Ireland, now calls Hollywood, Fla., His home and has been competing on PGA Tour since 2010, the same year as his Ryder Cup debut.
Career Slam winner is 5-2 in his seven Ryder Cups.
