After the mother of all the hat tricks, Ted Lasso Season 4 is officially underway, according to a new teaser from Apple TV+. In the clip (see below), Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Welton), Juno Temple (Keeley Jones) and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins) reunite, with a scene filmed in Sudeikis’ hometown of Kansas City, which suggests a major location from Richmond. A scene made in the Susikis’ home in Kansas City. However, the scene is cut off before things can really get started, so what is actually happening is anyone’s guess.
Also up in the air is the possible season 4 release date along with whether other core herd members return. Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt), Nick Mohammed (Nathan ‘Nate’ Shelley), Sarah Niles (Dr. Sharon M Feldstone), Anthony Head (Rupert Mannion), Toheeb Jimoh (Samuel ‘Samisanya), Cristo Fernández (Dani Rojas), Kola Bokinni (is (Colin Hukhes) Lance (Trent Crimm) has not yet been confirmed for a Ted Lasso -Backer and we probably don’t find out if they are until they are much closer to Hit Apple TV+ Show‘S any release (or at least with enough time that has gone to a full season 4 trailer to be released).
You may have noticed a name that is missing from the above list, and that is for good reason. Although they do not appear in Ted Lasso Season 4 Production Teaser, we know they have been promoted to series regularly … and are quickly reworked in the process.
The main gang is back together in Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso Season 4 Teaser but the same can not be said for Henry
Look at
I’m talking about Henry, who is Ted Lasso’s son in previous seasons. He was originally played by Gus Turner but instead of Turner returning to the role, Obi-WanGrant Feely has taken over. Back in March 2025, sources (via The Independent) claimed that the show was looking to rework Henry to use an actor who was “skilled in football”, which means we are likely to see Henry on the field even more in upcoming episodes. Deadline Has also confirmed that Henry is now a series regular from Season 4, which appears more rarely across seasons 1-3.
Of course, this is not the only change in pitch we expect to see in season 4. Ted will now coach AFC Richmond Women’s Football Team, with stars like Tanya Reynolds (Sex lessons?Jude Mack (Back in action), Faye Marsay (Youth), Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey (Jurassic World: Dominion) and Abbie hern (My lady Jane) TIPT to take on the role of new players. At the moment, everything we know is that these new faces are definitely on board in some capacity.
If you were watching Ted Lasso Season 3, you will remember that we got away with everything that was pretty wrapped and it felt like all our key players jumped over to the horizon with their happy finishes. Ted did not give up with coaching completely, instead of coaching Henry’s football team after moving back to Kansas City. AFC Richmond beat their rival while placing the other in the league where Rebecca reveals she is selling the club. Apple TV+ has so far confirmed the following plot for Season 4: “Ted returns to Richmond, who is still taking on his biggest challenge: Coaching another division woman’s football team. During the season, Ted and the team learn to jump before they see, and take chances they never thought they would.”
How this actually happens after the final Season 3 ending remains a mystery, but if it means that Lasso and the gang are reunited in Richmond, get me back pitchside.
