Teddi Mellencamp talks about how her melanoma worsened to phase 4 despite being proactive about her health.
The Real housewives of Beverly Hills Alun, 44, remembered in a recent glamor interview that she had gained routine control every three months, but her cancer was undiscovered until it had spread to her brain and lungs.
“When you go to a doctor, you just assume it’s that. I do what I have to do. First, I didn’t even do the research on Melanom because I didn’t want to know all the bad things,” she told the business.
“My highest melanoma on my shoulder was phase one,” remembered Mellencamp. “When I finally followed up on it, they were who, ‘We didn’t do the scans because you had nothing over one step one.’ But see what happened. ”
The Star of Reality, who has documented her ongoing melanoma diagnosis after undergoing 17 surgeries for the invasive skin cancer, she still iterated a positive mindset throughout her journey.
“Part of it was me that I didn’t know the negatives in the situation and just went out of my stomach,” she shared.
She continued, “Something inside me told me, ‘You will survive. You’re going to cope with it.’ Of course, I have days when I feel doubts and feel worried, but I just said to myself to continue to emerge.
