Dry weather conditions across Punjab have led to an increase in temperatures where heat is expected to intensify in the coming days, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The department stated that the weather system causing dryness has gone through Pakistan and Punjab without bringing any rainfall, which further contributed to the rising temperatures, reported Express News.
The MET Department predicts that Lahore will experience a minimum temperature of 19 ° C and a maximum of 32 ° C. The dry conditions have already led to increased heat during the day, and nights are also expected to be warmer.
Other areas of Punjab also see a similar increase in heat, and the dry spell is expected to continue in the foreseeable future.
The department warned that the temperatures in the region due to the sustained dry weather are expected to rise gradually, making the heat more intense.
A few days ago, rainfall in different cities brought Punjab a relief from the heat, where the weather became pleasant throughout the region.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, a weather system that brings rain is currently affecting most districts in Punjab, including Lahore, reported Express News.
The rain caused the temperatures to fall, which improved the total weather conditions for the residents.
The rain was expected to continue until March 16, when Lahore experienced a minimum temperature of 16 ° C and a maximum of 27 ° C.
Other parts of central and upper Punjab probably also receive rainfall. The cooling effect from the rain has given some comfort to fasting residents under Ramadan.
