American tennis player Danielle Collins had some electoral words for the camera during her InternationalAux de Strasbourg match against Emma Raducanu on Wednesday afternoon.

Collins was in the midst of a transition when she felt that the camera’s hovering was a little too close to comfort in the middle of the third and defining set. She came off the bench and made that point clear.

“I have to get water. We’re on a transition. You don’t have to be so close to me and you don’t have to be on top of Emma. It’s wildly inappropriate,” Collins said. “It’s not that hard to give way.”

The camera was held on Collins as she filled her water bottle with Raducanu in the shot on the right.

Collins ended up winning the match 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 and is ready to take on Anna Kalinskaya in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Raducanu weighed into what she heard from Collins during her outbreak.

“I got up because I wouldn’t sit down in the third set because of my back,” Raducanu said via Tennis Gazette. “I was standing because it was a little more comfortable, and then she came to fill her bottle and just said how the camera was really close and felt a little inappropriate, but that’s all she said.”
