LOWER DIR:

Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Mian Iftikhar Hussain has alleged that terrorism has been turned into a full-fledged business in Pakistan, saying that from the era of General Ziaul Haq till today, the same policy has continued, shedding the blood of Pashtuns in exchange for dollars.

Addressing a grand inauguration ceremony organized by ANP Lower Dir, Mian Iftikhar said that currently terrorism is at its peak, government endorsement is absent in the tribal districts and the provincial government seems completely indifferent to the worsening security situation.

He termed the punishment awarded to former intelligence officer Faiz Hameed as insufficient, and stated that responsibility for the release of 40,000 terrorists and 102 high-profile terrorist prisoners is still missing. He added that Ehsanullah Ehsan, the killer of his only son, is still walking freely.

During the event, Malik Naseer Gujjar along with his family and associates formally joined the Awami National Party. Former Chief Minister Haider Khan Hoti, Central Secretary to Finance Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Provincial General Secretary Hussain Shah Yousafzai, District President Haji Bahadur Khan and other party leaders were also present.
