Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has promised to inflict a decisive and crushing defeat on terrorists, which ensures that they will never wipe to throw an evil eye on Pakistan.
He spoke at a high-level meeting about the country’s law and order situation on Friday, he repeated the government’s ongoing obligation to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.
“The fight to eliminate terrorism will continue, and we will defeat terrorists so thoroughly that they will never think of challenging Pakistan again,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He added that Pakistan’s enemies are particularly afraid of the country’s economic progress, which is a testimony to its resilience.
The Prime Minister praised the proactive measures taken by various institutions and provincial governments in the fight against terrorism, praising the tireless efforts of security forces.
“Our brave officers and soldiers confront terrorists day and night and sacrifice their lives for the nation,” he emphasized.
He assured full cooperation from the federal government to improve the capabilities of all provinces in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
Shehbaz Sharif also mentioned that the federal government, in collaboration with provincial authorities, strengthens the narrative against terrorism that has shown encouraging results.
When highlighting the importance of unity, the prime minister emphasized the need for all provinces and institutions to put their differences aside and work together to eliminate terrorism.
He also directed institutions to intensify the efforts to fight smuggling and further squeeze down on human trafficking networks, ensuring that smugglers are brought to justice.
In the ongoing match for safer cities, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for the rapid implementation of safe urban projects across major cities.
He noted that the National and Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center has been created at NACTA to improve coordination.
In addition, the forensic scientific agency of Islamabad is operational and improvements are underway in Punjab.
Participants at the meeting included central federal ministers, provincial representatives and senior law enforcement authorities.
He concluded by emphasizing that the nation must unite against common threats and work together on peace and security.
