The Houston Texans Has pledged $ 500,000 to society after a deadly flash river in Texas Hill Country claimed the lives of at least 27 people, including children, Friday.
The Texans released a statement on Saturday, added the donation will provide support and resources to the communities “influenced by devastating floods. “

“We are heart -bridged by the loss and damage our neighbors in Texas Hill land have endured. We are especially destroyed to hear about the children who are still missing, and we ask that they will soon be reunited with their families,” the statement states.

“Our hearts will remain with all affected, and in addition to our donation, we will continue to support the search, rescue and recovery efforts in the coming weeks.”

Panic followed Friday night when more than two dozen campers from Camp Mystic, a private Christian camp in All-Girls in Hunt, Texaswere reported missing. There were 750 participants in the camp when the flood hit.

Anne Hunt confirmed to Pakinomist Digital that her daughter Janie was one of the campers killed in the flood. Renee Smajstrla was identified as another deceased motorhome.
On Saturday, Kerr County announced that the flood killed 27 people, nine of whom were children. Kerr County Sheriff’s Office said more than 850 unscathed people and eight wounded people had been evacuated from Saturday morning.
