Texas sues NCAA to bring mandatory gender samples to combat trans -cluttering

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued NCAA for his recently revised policy for gender eligibility, which required the governance body to begin mandatory sex screening to keep trans athletes out of women’s sports.

NCAA announced its revised policy on February 6 in response to President Donald Trump’s “No Men Men In Women’s Sports” executive order, which was only signed one day earlier. The revised policy says biological male trans athletes are not eligible to compete in women’s competitions, but can continue to practice and receive “other benefits” from female teams.

But the policy was under the strong control of women’s rights activists over concerns that biological men will use changed birth certificates to gain access to women’s sports. Now Paxton is connected to the list of critics and is taking litigation to try to further change the policy.

NCAA responds as critics call potential loopholes in his new trans-athlete policy

“In practice, NCAA’s lack of sex screening has allowed (and will continue to give) biological men the opportunity to participate in ‘women’s’ sports categories ‘, the trial states. In addition, Paxton states that NCAA provides’ ample opportunity for biological men to change their birth registers and participate in women’s sports. ”

Former American gymnast and founder of XX-XY Athletics Jennifer Sey supported Paxton’s decision to file a trial, she told Pakinomist Digital.

“The only reliable way to preserve the integrity of women’s sports-secure that they are only xx-are to test for sex. Birth certificates can be changed but sex is not. It’s a simple non-invasive test. Spit in a cup .

Paxton had brought a case against NCAA in December over his previous politics. In this case, Paxton accused of NCAA of “engaging in false, misleading and misleading practice by marketing sporting events such as ‘woman’ competitions only and then giving consumers mixed sex competitions where biological men compete against biological women.”

“NCAA is deliberately and consciously to bring women’s safety and well-being by misleading women’s competitions to co-ed competitions,” Paxton said in a statement. “For example, when people see a woman’s volleyball match, they expect to see women play against other women – not biological men who pretend to be something they are not. Radical ‘gender theory’ has no place in university sports.”

NCAA made a statement to Pakinomist Digital, which addressed the criticism and insisted that changed birth certificates will not be accepted.

“The policy is aware that there are no exceptions available, and the student-athlete who is awarded a man at birth may not be able to compete for a women’s team with changed birth certificates or other forms of ID,” the statement reads. “Players in male practice have been a staple in college sports for decades, especially in women’s basketball, and the association will continue to explain it in politics.”

These details are not currently described on the official NCAA policy side as it does not make any specific references to birth certificate or ID changes, or women’s scholarships that go to trans athletes, per. NCAA’s Website.

In the United States, 44 states allow birth certificates to change to change a person’s birth sex. The only states that do not allow this are Florida, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Montana. In the meantime, there are 14 states that allow sex on a birth certificate to change without required medical documentation, including California, New York, Massachusetts and Michigan.

Still celebrated Trump and his education department NCAA’s political change when it was announced earlier this month.

“Exciting news! Due to my executive order, which I proudly signed yesterday, NCAA has officially changed their politics that allow men in women’s sports – it is now forbidden! This is a great day for women and girls throughout our country , ”Trump wrote on social media in response to NCAA’s political change.

Department of Education wrote in a post, “News: In accordance with President Trump’s executive order, NCAA just announced that ‘a student athlete who was awarded a man at birth may not be competing for an NCAA women’s team.’ The victory is still coming under Potus’s leadership! ”

Neither Trump nor anyone directly in his administration has dealt with recent criticism of the new NCAA policy over potential changed birth certificates.
