Eric Kripke, the creator of The boysteases fans about the show’s final season on social media.
In his Instagram post, he first raves about the show’s overwhelming response from fans. “First off, thanks for watching and loving @genv (and if you haven’t watched yet, what the hell are you waiting for? Stop scrolling and watching!)
In the last part of the post, he writes about how much progress has been made in the past season.
“Secondly, we’re hard at work wrapping up @theboystv Final Season. Here’s me and some of the VFX team today,” notes the filmmaker.
He continues: “Editing is all done, we’re about halfway done with VFX, Music, Color. I’m really happy with how it’s going and can’t wait for you to see it. We’re going out with a bang. COMING (reasonably) SOON. #GenV #TheBoys.”
While no specific release date has been announced, the final season is off The boys expected in 2026.
