Star Wars is kicking off New York Toy Fair in a pretty big way—and a little early—with its own Most Wanted event this evening. The focus is, as you might suspect, Star Wars, but also the first reveals of toys, collectibles and even clothing ahead of The Mandalorian & Grogu movie to be released on May 22, 2026.
Disney Store is unveiling a pretty epic package of products, all themed around the movie, and it’s got an extra dose of Galaxy’s Edge magic at Disneyland and Disney World, as some of these will be sold in the parks at merchants like Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, as well as exclusively on DisneyStore.com.
Leading the pack is a personal favorite – take it from someone who is slightly obsessed with the lovable, cute and oh-so-fun BDX Droids developed by Walt Disney Imagineering. As part of the existing Disney Store Droid Factory action figure lineup, the BDX Droids arrive as a four-pack.
Matching the team that regularly performs in Disney Parks around the world – and even on the high seas aboard Disney Cruise Line – gets you a red, blue, green and orange BDX unit for just $39.99. While these aren’t electronic, this is the closest Disney has come to actually releasing a BDX Droid we can buy, and they look pretty detailed. These will be arriving at Disney Parks and online from the Disney Store soon.
Of course, the BDX Droids will be making their big screen debut as well The Mandalorian & Groguand I sure hope they come back to Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida soon.
Similar to Hasbro’s Vintage Collection expansion, as TechRadar exclusively revealed, the Disney Store and parks will be home to a $39.99 Toybox action figure set featuring the main characters – The Mandalorian and Grogu – as well as Zeb Orrelios and R5-D4.
Even nicer is an upcoming talking Mandalorian action figure that will utter classic catchphrases and some new ones from the movie. It’s $34.99 from the Disney Store online and select parks, and of course, it comes with Baby Yoda and an Anzellan figure.
Now, Din Djarin is no stranger to a speeder bike, and the Disney Store is ready to ship a fun RC pairing of The Mandalorian with said bike. It will be fully controllable so you can zip around with show and movie accurate sounds – I just want to know if the Grogu can be attached to the back. This will be exclusive to the parks — though one can hope it comes to the Disney Store at some point — along with a light-up AT-RT wind-up toy that looks particularly fun.
However, if you’ve ever wanted to be The Mandalorian, the Disney Store – as well as Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at Galaxy’s Edge East and West – will be your place. There’s a brand new The Mandalorian helmet, which goes hard on the details as well as the sound effects, for $119.99. It can be paired with Mando’s gloves, which light up and emit sound, for $99.99.
We’re waiting for the Disney Store to confirm the exact release date for these, as well as a few other parts of this first drop, but I expect to see them arrive in May of Season 4. We’re working on going hands-on – especially with BDX Droids – so we’ll update this soon.
