In a significant development in the murder case about Mustafa Aamir, a young man abducted and killed in Karachi’s defense area, police have arrested four individuals, including the alleged son of the famous actor Sajid Hasan.
According to Express News, the arrests were made after revelations of detained suspected Armaghan and Shiraz. Law enforcement authorities carried out attacks in different defense areas, which led to fear of the four persons.
Sources show that among the arrested ones are the alleged son of actor Sajid Hasan. Police have confirmed that all four suspects, including the actor’s alleged son, have been detained in the long term for drug trafficking and will be interrogated accordingly.
Police have also informed families about the arrested persons about their detention.
In addition, the authorities have submitted a report to Anti-Terrorism Court, which revealed that the suspects had previously assaulted a woman one day before Mustafa Aamir’s killing.
In recent developments, the Court has awarded a five-day physical custody to the police for further investigation by the suspects.
Armughan, who has a previous criminal story, stays in the middle of the probe when police reveal more details about his activities.
According to police registrations, Armughan was implicated in several serious crimes since 2019, including terrorism, murder attempts, drug trafficking and extortion. Over the years, he faced charges in several police stations, including Darakhshan, Sahil, Gizri, Boat Basin and anf.
During the interrogation of the fulfillment, Armughan admitted to having taken measures to cover his tracks before his arrest. He admitted to deleting all data from the laptops at home and hindering the investigator’s ability to retrieve critical evidence. Armughan also revealed that he personally drove the car from Khyaban-E-Momin in DHA to the Daraji area of Balochistan, where Mustafa Amir’s body was disposed of.
It also emerged that Armughan had run an illegal software house and call center from his Gizri home. This illegal operation allegedly stunned foreign clients of millions of dollars over the years. He also created several digital currency accounts used for money laundering.
Armughan opposed arrest for several hours and tried to prevent police from reaching the laptops he had dried clean.
The most important suspect, Armaghan, was implicated in the brutal killing of Mustafa, and blood tests found in Armaghan’s residence matched them from the victim’s mother, which further involves him in the crime.
According to reports, Mustafa was killed inside Armaghan’s house using a metal bar and shot. During the violent assault, Mustafa’s blood was found on the blanket. DNA reports delivered to police confirmed that the blood tests found in Armaghan’s house matched those taken from Mustafa’s mother.
In addition, a disturbing sound recording appeared, reportedly Mustafa’s last, telling a friend that he was on his way to Armaghan’s house and suggested that his friend join him after completing his work. This recording raised significant questions about police investigation, which suggested that Mustafa’s friend may have known about his last residence, but nevertheless failed to inform the authorities for over a month.
Further revelations came from Armaghan’s friend, Shiraz, who claimed Mustafa and Armaghan had a dispute about a girl in New Year’s Eve. The disagreement led to Armaghan luring Mustafa to his house under false prerequisites on January 6, when he fiercely killed him.
Afterwards, Armaghan and Shiraz Mustafa’s body carried in a car to a remote area of Balochistan, where they set the vehicle on fire to destroy evidence. The two suspects went for three hours before going back to Karachi.
Investigative officials declared that the girl involved in the dispute left abroad on January 12 and there was an effort to contact her through Interpol.
