- Nintendo has released the first Switch 2 Post-Launch Update
- Version 20.1.5 is small and improves only the general system stability to improve user experience
- The update must automatically download if the console is connected to the Internet, but can also be installed manually
Nintendo has rolled the first Nintendo Switch 2 update since the console was released, but there is not much to be excited about.
Version 20.1.5 is now live and available for the console, and as Patch Notes details are a simple update with only one main feature.
Patchet adds: “General improvements to the stability of the system to improve the user’s experience,” and that’s it. Presumably this means that the update has improved the benefit.
Nintendo is always quite vague when it comes to changing firmware updates and it seems that it will not be different with Switch 2.
As with the original switch, the update must automatically download when the console is connected to the Internet; Otherwise, it can be installed manually via the System Settings menu.
Switch 2 is launched earlier this month with a day-patch required for a number of the console’s features, including backward compatibility, game share, switch online, virtual game cards, Nintendo ESHOP and more.
