- Two photos apparently showing the OnePlus 15 has emerged
- They show a redesigned camera block that is very different from the OnePlus 13’s
- They also show the phone in two colors – white and pink
It has been rumored for a while now that OnePlus 15 could have a new design, and now the details of this design are all, but confirmed as photos apparently show that the phone has arrived.
First up, a Weibo account for Peace Elite League (Pel) Esports League (via telephone arena) has shared a photo of players watching a OnePlus phone with the headline asking viewers to guess what they are looking at.
While the phone is not mentioned by name, it does not appear to be any existing OnePlus hand set, so it is likely that OnePlus 15.
This looks like it’s probably an official drill of the phone in collaboration with Pel, but along with that, @oneplusclub has also shared another photo of the device on X. It’s not clear where this other image came from and whether it’s a intentional tease or a leak, but it seems very much the same phone.
A more conventional design
So we are pretty convinced that this is OnePlus 15 we are looking at, but if so, it is unfortunate because it has acted the distinctive circular camera residence in OnePlus 13 – as our OnePlus 13 review described as “a beautiful phone” – for a far more conventional square camera block.
Within this block, the lenses are arranged in a slightly unusual way, with two that are together in a black oblong, one out on your own, and what is probably a flash surrounded by a black circle.
But while it is a little unusual, it is not necessarily attractive, and it is not even quite unique as it reminds us a little of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold – not to mention OnePlus 13T, which also has a similar design.
In any case, there is not much to see here. We can only see the back of the phone, and it has otherwise a fairly plain finish shown here in both white and pink.
But hopefully we should get a more complete look at OnePlus 15 soon as it is probably launched in October – though it may only be in China, with a global launch that needs to be followed.
