The Four Seasons Season 2: Key Information
– Officially renewed in May
– The main herd is expected to return
– No official trailer released yet
– Plot information remains during wrapping
– Writing for Season 2 has started
The four seasons Season 2 is officially on the way thanks to a quick renewal a few days after the show premiered on Netflix.
Based on the 1981 movie with the same name, season 1 six friends followed, consisting of three married couples when they vacationed together in each season of the year – four trips, four seasons.
Over eight episodes, the pairs experienced the heights, low and laughing at being long -lasting friends and long -term lovers. Until the last season of the winter, the tragedy hit the group, and the destruction threatened to tear them apart. Fortunately, it seemed to bring them closer together. Nice, what about that ginny twist?
Season 2 will take the co-showrunner’s Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield lovingly designed in the first race and Hurtle viewers through another roller coaster of emotions on one of the best streaming services.
Here’s what we know so far about The four seasons Season 2 release date, predicted role crew, plot and more.
The Four Seasons Season 2: Is there a release date?
When it comes to The four seasons Season 2 release date, yes, there is not yet one. But the show was officially renewed on May 14, just under two weeks after season 1 premiered on Netflix.
The message of Netflix’s Instagram shows the words “It’s time for another trip” along with clips from Season 1 of the role crew, discussing going on vacation again with Anne suggesting “somewhere warm”.
The show’s co-creators and co-showrunners Fey, Fisher and Wigfield told The Hollywood Reporter: “We are so grateful that the audience worldwide shares our love for cozy jerseys, drinks by the sea and pick matches in a hot tub. Look at our next vacation together!”
There is no word yet The four seasons Season 2 movie shooting so I would predict that we will not see the return of the show until at least mid -end of 2026.
The Four Seasons Season 2: Has a trailer been released?
There is no The four seasons Season 2 Trailer yet, which is not so surprising considering that the role crew and crew have not begun to film.
In Season 1, a teaser fell in mid -March with the official full trailer that landed only a few weeks before the show launched on Netflix. So I keep an eye on and update here in what I imagine will be 2026.
The Four Seasons Season 2: predicted Role herd

I’m almost sure that for The four seasons Season 2 Role Authority, the protagonists will all recreate their roles (bore an obvious emission):
- Tina Fey like Kate
- Will forte as jack
- Colman Domingo as Danny
- Marco Calvani as Claude
- Kerri Kenney-Silver like Anne
- Erika Henningssen as Ginny
- Julia Lester as Lila
It is largely a given that the most important role crew stated above will return considering that they are at the heart of the entire show. Especially considering that Wigfield told Tvline if the show was renewed for Season 2 (as it has of course been): “It would not be, like an anthology. We would keep our group because I think that’s what makes the show so big, this particular group.”
What is not a given is whether Steve Carell (Nick) would return at all considering his shocking death in Season 1, but there is always a chance for flashbacks. After all, there is a long story between the friends he left behind and there may well be story left to tell.
While Nick and Anne’s daughter, Lila, starred in a number of episodes, it is not clear if she would return, so we wait to confirm when we hear more.
The Four Seasons Season 2: Story Synopsis and Rumors

Full spoilers to The four seasons Season 1 to follow. Plus, potential spoilers for season 2.
The four seasons Season 1 brought comedy and a breadth of emotions with the six friends who vacationed together over a year.
And over that year, very happened. As Nick leaves his wife Anne for a much-young girlfriend, Ginny. And then Nick suddenly dies in the second to the last episode. Oh, and then the Ginny Group tells her she’s actually pregnant with Nicks Baby. Excuse us while we try to get ready for season 2.
With so much to unpack, we can imagine that friends will literally pack and pack their bags ready for another four more holidays for four seasons in the year with Tudum telling viewers to “settle in another winter, spring, summer and autumn.”

And we would predict that these holiday places will be brand new. Unless of course Ginny can lure them all back to Eco Resort …
Apart from where Season 1 left viewers, there’s not much known about Season 2 plot, and it’s probably because they only went back to the author’s room in May.
Although Tina Fey told The Hollywood Reporter when it comes to writing Season 2: “The authors have been very generous much of what you saw in season one is very obvious from the movie, but much came from all our lives. Addition:” We are kind of start from scratch. “
For this, Fey’s Co-creator and Co-ShowRunner Wigfield: “We created fun dynamics in the final. Ginny is pregnant and this venue group is a bit moving in the wake of their friend’s death. There will be really interesting things to play and we are already starting to talk about it and it is really exciting.”
And when it comes to Claude’s part in Season 2, in conversation with Variety Marco Calvani expressed his hopes for what’s next: “Well, it would be fun to see Danny and Claude’s group of gay friends.
“But you know the group wants to do with a baby now. I have a feeling that Claude will confront his desire for a family. It would also be cool to have some scenes with ginny. We are a bit of those outsiders in the group.”
Will there be more seasons of the four seasons?

At the moment there really is nothing to say aboutThe four seasons returning to another series.
Since Season 2 has not begun filming yet. In fact, it’s still in the writing stages. So it seems to be unlikely that there will be any intel about whether Season 3 is an option until a little down the road.
The renewal of season 2 happened just days after Season 1’s release, so if we need to hear any thoughts about Season 3, I imagine it is only at least 2026. What I know is that I have never written the word season so many times in my life.
