ISLAMABAD:
Senator Faisal Vawda on Thursday stated that after January 20, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would adopt a conciliatory tone while the government would maintain a rigid stance in negotiations.
In a private television program, the former federal minister noted that if Imran Khan is convicted, the PTI will criticize the government. He also stressed the need to stop the use of “religious card” in politics.
Senator Vawda maintained that Bushra Bibi is currently overseeing PTI’s internal affairs.
He termed the allegations of the meeting between PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur and the army chief as baseless.
Vawda said he believed negotiations will begin after January 20.
