Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 has officially started and the first message at night assured us Hollow Knight: Silksong is definitely real.
It’s long since Team Cherry advertised Hollow Knight successor, and it has appeared in several live presentations over the last few years without news of a release date every time.
Unfortunately, the opening of the Night Live 2025 did not share the long -awaited release date, but host Geoff Keighley confirmed the fact that the game is officially launched this year.
We also received one very Short glimpses of new gameplay, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite a full new trailer.
However, Team Cherry has confirmed that a “special message” will be shared during a broadcast on August 21, 2025, which will offer a whole new look at Silk song and (hopefully) a correct release date.
There was also a confirmation that the game can be played on the Gamescom Show Floor.
