The last of us Season 2 section 7 is out now – and with that is the incredibly popular show’s latest installment completed.
Like its predecessor, Season 2 of HBO’s TV adaptation has been an appointment view for all of us in the last seven weeks. And when the dust sits down on its final in almost 50 minutes, I imagine you have some big questions about what happened and the show’s future.
So how do it The last of us Season 2 end? Are there any end credits scenes? And when do we think season 3 arrives all over the world? I aim to answer these questions below but remember that Full spoilers immediately follow for The last of us‘Season 2 final. Make sure you have seen it before you continue.
Who dies in the last of us season 2 section 7?
The last of us TV Show’s latest episode contains three major character deaths.
The most unexpected of them, and without a doubt the most shocking since Joel’s death in season 2 section 2, is Jesse’s. The close friend of Ellie and Dina’s ex-boyfriend (and father of Dina’s unborn child) is killed by Abby when she storms the Seattle Theater on her own, which has been Ellie and Dina’s operating base since this season’s fourth episode.
Jesse’s death will probably not shock those who have played The last of us part IIalias the naughty Dog Video Game Season 2 is based on. And if you had been aware in advance shade throughout Season 2’s last episode, such as Jesse, who constantly expresses his desire to get out of Seattle in one piece, I doubt you wouldn’t have been stunned by his passing.

But why does Abby kill him? The reason is simple: Ellie accidentally killed Owen and Mel, two members of Abby’s party who helped her run and murder Joel in section 2.
After learning about Abby’s location from Nora in Section 5 – what is, Seattles Aquarium does not infiltrate so far from the city’s non -transferable Paris wheel – Ellie infiltrates the building and meetings Owen and Mel while searching for Abby.
Still traumatized from how much she tortured Nora two episodes ago, Ellie claims she didn’t shoot Owen and flour if they tell her where Abby is now. Owen originally refuses, but to buy himself and flour for some time, he eventually agrees to show Ellie where she can find Abby on a card.
However, when Owen approaches the map on a table, however, he makes a step to grab a gun to shoot Ellie first. Unfortunately for Owen, Ellie’s survival instincts kick in and she shoots him first.

The bullet passes through Owen’s neck and kills him instantly. After leaving the back of Owen’s neck, the flour is behind him. The ball slices her throat and crushes an artery in the process, resulting in flour collapsing and bleeding.
Normally, this would be a tragic accident in itself – after all, flour was unprecedented and did not try to hurt Ellie. However, Mel makes things even worse for Ellie (and by the power of attorney us as viewers) before she dies by revealing that she is strongly pregnant.
If Ellie felt incredible guilt and shame on what she had done to Nora, she feels 50 times worse about not only taking Mel’s life, but also her innocent unborn child. It’s a moment that hits home even harder when you consider how much danger Ellie has put in a pregnant Dina since the couple also left Jackson, Wyoming.

Jesse, Owen and Mel are not the only damage in season 2 section 7 – yes, that’s what The last of us Want you to think. One of the final shots of the final shows Abby pointing her side arm to an unpredictable Ellie shouting “No No No!” Before the screen cuts to black when a shot is fired.
There’s no way that the Hit Max show just came across another of his protagonists in Ellie, right? In short: No, she doesn’t die. Ellie is the protagonist of this TV series and The last of us part II. Despite spoilers, her story is far from over in HBO’s live-action adaptation.
So who fired the shot we hear? I don’t want to ruin it now. You just have to wait until season 3 (more about this later) to arrive. Or, you know you could see a playthrough of The last of us 2 On YouTube if you want an answer ASAP.
Is there a mid -credit scene in the last of us season 2 section 7?

There is no mid -credit scene to stick to.
This season’s last scene doesn’t count as one either. Of course, it will fall a big tip about how Season 3 will begin (more on this card), but it is a short scene that takes place before the end credits start rolling. So it cannot be classified as a traditional mid -circuit.
Does the last of us season 2’s last episode have a post-credits scene?

No. The last of us Season 2 doesn’t have a post-credits scene either. Based on how the show’s latest episode ends, it doesn’t need one.
When is the last of us Season 3 released?

We don’t know. HBO only confirmed that The last of us Season 2 would not be the HIT series last chapter in April, so it will be a few years before one of the best max shows’ third season is released.
It is likely that work has been behind the scenes in Season 3 for some time. In fact, I would be surprised if the show’s Chief Creative Team has not punished its manuscripts, placement mirror and performed other pre -production elements for months at this time.
Nevertheless, with filming that is not yet beginning The last of us Season 3, I suppose it will be mid -2027 at the earliest before it is launched worldwide.
What does the last of us’ Season 2 final tell us about the plot in Season 3?

Season 2 section 7’s last scene suggests that next season will give us a completely different perspective on the events that play out under Ellie and Dina’s first 72 hours in Seattle.
After the screen is cut to black in this season’s final, many viewers might have expected the credits to roll and thereby leave us on a cliffhanger.
Instead, a new scene begins seconds later and reunite us with Abby as she has woken up by Manny. He tells her that “they” won’t be happy if she makes them wait, as Abby replies she will be there in five minutes.
Once she has arrived, Abby steps out onto a balcony overlooking a football stadium that has been reused as a headquarters for the Isaac-led antagonistic fraction known as The Washington Liberation Front (WLF). After examining the scene, Abby goes back inside as the words ‘Seattle, day one’ appears in the lower left corner of the screen.

This is the same place and time stamp that appeared in season 2 section 4 when Ellie and Dina first arrive in Seattle. So, The last of us Season 3’s first pair of episodes, if not the whole next season, travel back in time and covers the same three-day period in the American Pacific Northwest City through Abby’s eyes.
It won’t be a surprise to those who have played The last of us part II. As a deuteragonist from the aforementioned video game, Abby was a playable character for half of the story depicted in the second entrance of Naughty Dog’s acclaimed and multi-prize-winning game franchise. This means that her side of the Seattle-based story that runs at the same time to Ellies will be brought to life in Season 3 of HBO’s TV customization.
There is also a lot of reason to cover in the Abby-centric part of the story. What did Owen and Mel plan to do before Ellie interrupted them? Who is the father of Mel’s Baby? How did Abby knew where to find Ellie and co. In Seattle? What convinced Isaac of choosing ABBY as WLF’s new leader? Why does Isaac WLF’s current management think is set to bypass during the assault at Seraphites’ headquarters? And does Manny meet the same fate as Owen, Mel and Nora by Ellies or someone else’s hands, or is he still living somewhere?
These questions should answer in season 3 and up if The last of us Officially ending with his rumor four-season plan. I could give more details now, but again I won’t spoil anything important about Ellie and Abby’s travels from this point in the story. So unless you are scrapping the internet after reply now, wait until season 3 arrives for them.
