- Dji Osmo Nano is leaked again
- We have specifications and pictures of the camera
- The device could be launched next Tuesday
DJI does not brake with the product launches: When you just reveal the DJI Mini 5 Pro, it seems that DJI Osmo Nano is the next unit in the pipeline and details of the compact action camera have leaked again.
These details come from Dronexl and are taken from an Australian retail site that appears to have published information about the DJI Osmo Nano camera in advance. The stated specifications include a “brand new” 1/1.3-inch sensor capable of recording 4K video at up to 60 frames per second.
The camera apparently offers a 143-degree field of view and the life of the battery is said to be around the 200-minute brand. The list also indicates that the unit is waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters without additional house or protection.
According to DJI’s Marketingkopi, DJI Osmo Nano “can be set in multiple positions, which helps you capture forbidden angles and enjoy greater creative freedom”. Based on this listing, there is at least the possibility of 128 GB of storage space on board.
Shooting conditions and pricing
There is also a mention of two stabilization modes: Horizon Balancing for Correction of Horizon Slopes and a Rock Steady 3.0 mode that “effectively reduces camera feast while preserving the intensity and effect of movement”.
Add the images that accompany these specifications and it is a comprehensive preview of what is coming – and a good look at how DJI Osmo Nano can take the other smaller action cameras on the market, such as the Insta360 GO 3S.
This is not the first leak we have seen around this device. The camera has actually appeared on DJI’s own social media channels, while we have also seen several leaked images. A starting price of € 369 (about $ 435 / £ 320 / AU $ 655) has been listed.
There is a DJI launch event scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, where we will see one or more new products – including very likely DJI Osmo Nano. Of course, we will bring you all device information as soon as they become official.
