We have seen a steady stream of Samsung Galaxy Tri-fold folding phone rumors this year with a handful of official teasing, and now a fresh leak is outlining some of the most important specifications that the device allegedly comes with.
According to the well-known tipster @pandaflashpro (via SammoBile), it will fold with the extra fold make use of a titanium and aluminum frame for better durability, a design choice we have seen for the best Samsung phones and the best iPhones in recent years.
On top of that, the phone seems to come with a Snapdragon chip and 16 GB of RAM. No specific processor is mentioned, but the Snapdragon 8 elite seems like a good effort as it is the same chipset that drives the Samsung Galaxy S25.
The same leak suggests that there will be no under-display camera on the main screen, which will be a change from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. We have heard a similar rumor about the Galaxy Z Fold 7, making it appear that punch-hole cameras are back this year.

These details are labeled as “confirmed” by the tipster, but of course nothing is confirmed until Samsung does it officially. However, we know for sure that a tri-fold is on the way because we have seen Samsung pick up several short references to it.
Based on the rumors that have swirled so far, Tri-Foldet sounds like an exciting view. There has been a collapsible battery to maximize the life of the battery, and the screen dimensions tipes to be 9.96 inches (head) and 6.49 inches (cover).
The indications are that the phone will share a lot of features with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, including the speakers and the hinge mechanisms, while the charging speeds may not be exactly the best in class.
We may also have a name for this phone: Samsung Galaxy G Fold. There is a chance that we could see that it was launched on July 9 at the next Galaxy -packed event along with Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 8.
