- Lies of S. are ready to receive a huge free update
- It has two new difficulty states in addition to the current standard
- Battle Memories and Death March -States will let players play Boss matches
If you thought Liar of p: overture Was the only piece of significant content that came to one of the best soul -like games this year … Yes, you thought wrong. It’s because Lies of S. is also ready to receive a free update that will be made available to all players – whether you are buying Overture extension or not.
The update brings two new difficulties to the game. This is the butterfly’s guidance and awakened doll, both of which give a more history -focused, easier difficulty for those who are not accustomed to the intensity of souls. The default problem that is in the game right now is renamed ‘Legendary Stalker.’
There is not yet a word about exactly what effects these states of difficulty have on Lies of P. But it is easy to imagine reduced damage scaling for enemies and perhaps a decrease in enemy density depending on what difficulty you choose.
The update also brings a dedicated boss rush mode to the game. Named Battle Memories, You can access this mode at Hotel Krat Stargazer after clearing the game at least once.
Battle Memories will let you challenge previously defeated bosses from both the base game and Overture DLC (downloadable content). Each boss has five difficulty levels, with the harder levels 4 and 5 locked until you have cleared the previous ones (for example, you get access to level 4 after beating level 3, for example).
Publisher Neowiz has also teased further unlocked for those who are willing to brave the harder levels: “Who knows, what rewards await those who overcome these curing challenges?”
But that’s not all as Battle Memories is paired with another state called Death March. This condition challenges players to defeat at least three bosses in succession with a limited pool of items and healing pulse cells. You are also able to set custom scenarios here and choose the bosses you want to meet. The severity of combat memories can also be used here.
It sounds like a very significant update to go along with the upcoming Overture enlargement. With several difficulty options, Boss Rush modes and the potential of unique rewards there really is something for everyone here.
Finally this Lies of S. Update arrives the same day that Overture DLC will release sometime in the summer of 2025.
