Keyboards for MacBooks and iPads have been updated
It is the first fine tuning to the button design since back in 1999
Apple revealed some shiny new MacBook broadcasts in 2025 earlier this week -and as well as with the latest M4 chips sets inside they also correct a keyboard monitoring that has existed since the last century.
As it was discovered by Iculture (via macumors), the blunt button on the keyboard now shows a small speaker with a stroke line through it. Previously, the icon was just a speaker, with none of the sound waves next door, as the other volume buttons show.
