- Nintendo expands his partnership with the baseball team Seattle Mariners prior to the opening season 2025

- Seattle Mariner Centerfielder Julio Rodríguez will act as a fire ambassador to promote the partnership
Nintendo is expanding his partnership with Seattle Mariners in front of the MLB opening season 2025 by becoming the baseball team’s first ever official Jersey Sleeve Partner.
Nintendo announced the new collaboration with a new promotional video released on X / Twitter today, showing Seattle Mariner -Midtban player Julio Rodríguez who sported his New Jersey with Nintendo’s Red Logo on the sleeve.
The upcoming season will begin on March 27, alias opening day, and each member of the Seattle Mariner’s baseball team shows the Nintendo Racetrack logo on their home jerseys and a Nintendo Switch 2 logo on growth jerseys.
“Nintendo and Mariners have been inextricably linked since 1992,” Kevin Martinez, Seattle Mariner’s president of business operations, said in a press release.
“Now, every time the seafarers take the pitch, our Jersey sleeves will help serve as a reminder of everything Nintendo in America has done for the northwestern community and the team. There is no better partnership in the Major League Baseball. We are grateful for our incredible relationship with Nintendo.”

Julio Rodríguez will also continue the partnership between Mariners and Nintendo by acting as a fire ambassador.

“Our history of mariners goes back decades, so this really feels like coming home. Nintendo has a lot of exciting news this year and through collaboration like this we can’t wait to create even more smiles across all generations. Go Mariners!”
This extended partnership comes right in front of the Nintendo Direct Showcase on April 2, which is likely to reveal a launch date for Nintendo Switch 2.
