Badin: Police have included the poet Dr. Akash Ansaris Foster son and driver in the investigation on the basis of suspicion that his death may not have been unintended, officials confirmed on Sunday.
The well -known Sindhi poet Allah Bux popularly known as Dr. Akash Ansari, 69, died when a fire broke out in his house located in the Citizen Colony, Hyderabad.
His cousin Jan Mohammad Ansari revealed that the deceased poet had previously filed a first information report (FIR) against his fetus son, Latif Akash, and accused him of having the murder. He also claimed that the son was a drug addict and had made threats to Akash’s life. The family is considering litigation after consultations.
Meanwhile, Akash’s friend, Dr. Ilmuddin Ansari that the study after Mortem was conducted due to suspicions of bad play. He added that the report showed signs of torture on the body.
Police have taken both suspects in custody as the investigation continues.
Latif, after the incident arrived on Saturday, had claimed that Akash was asleep when a fire broke out in his room around 2 p.m. 8:30.
The deceased’s family members went to Badin for burial, but at the request of the authorities, the poet’s body was brought to Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad, to an autopsy.
Later, police expressed the possibility of a short circuit that may have caused the fire. They also said that his son was at home when the incident took place and had sought help from rescue officers and neighbors to save his father’s life.
Police also added that the poet had brought a case against his fetus son in 2024, but later buried Hatchet.
Sindh -Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah ordered studies of the incident. In line with the directions of Chief Minister, Hyderabad SSP formed a five-member team team, led by headquarters SP Masood Iqbal, to investigate the incident.
