LAHORE:
President Asif Ali Zardari left for Islamabad from Lahore to conclude this brief tour of Punjab on Wednesday.
He arrived in Punjab last week over the weekend, landing at Sheikh Zayed Airport at Rahim Yar Khan, from where he immediately traveled to Jamal Din Wali.
During his stay, the President traveled to Sadiqabad, Vehari and Multan before arriving in Lahore on Tuesday.
Interestingly, during his visits to the aforementioned areas of southern Punjab, Zardari not only addressed gatherings but also had a question session with local media.
He took a swipe at the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan over his health problems.
