ISLAMABAD:

President Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan remains committed to promoting harmony among religions and contributing constructively to global peace and understanding.

In a message on the occasion of World Interfaith Harmony Week to be observed from February 1 to 7, 2026, he said: “I extend my warm greetings to the people of Pakistan and to the international community. This observance reminds us of the shared values ​​of peace, compassion, mutual respect and coexistence.”

“Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and equal rights to all citizens, regardless of creed or creed,” he said.
