“I think the humanized sports agents in the public mind and showed that there is care going on,” Steinberg told Pakinomist Digital about the classic movie that collected over $ 150 million at the ticket office.

“The image of agents wasn’t the best.”
It is likely that one of the most quotable films of the 1990s, “Jerry Maguire” has iconic lines like “You Have Me Am Hello” and “You Complete Me.”
However, there is a four-word phrase that resonates so deeply with fans of both the film and Steinberg that they, without failing, ask him to deliver it personally.
“Every time I walk through an airport or go out to dinner, even after 26 years, someone runs up to the table or runs up to me in an airport and shouts four words – ‘Show me the money!,'” Steinberg said.
Over the course of a minute scene, the merging of cruise shows, emphasized in an enclosed office setting and good, shirtless, dance in his kitchen, shouting “shows me the money!” Back and forth, viewers gave a comic and pivotal bow in the film.

Steinberg told Pakinomist Digital that Tom Cruise, who portrayed him in the 1996 movie “Jerry Maguire”, did an “excellent” job.
“I thought he did an excellent job,” Steinberg said of Cruise’s portrayal. “Cameron Crowe is a gifted instructor.”
While he was filming, Steinberg told Pakinomist digital that he was taking gooding to the Super Bowl XXX in Phoenix and “made him pretend he was a broad recipient of me for a whole week.”
“He had to pretend that I was his agent,” Steinberg said.
Today, Steinberg, 76, continues to represent athletes, including Kansas City Chiefs star Quarterback Patrick Mahomes. In addition, Steinberg dedicates to the Leigh Steinberg Foundation, aiming to educate and raise information about the risk of athletic concussions and fund propylactic treatment of concussions and heal the concussed brain.

“I’ve been very involved in restoring what an agent’s responsibility is and I think part of it is to nurture a player’s health,” Steinberg said.
