Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+ brings Providence falls To fans from August 2nd in a three -part ‘event’ (think miniseries, only it’s three movies rather than episodes). The new three -part film series follows Cora (Katie Stevens), a new policeman on stage suddenly collaborated with the frivolous and widespread Liam (Lachlan Quarmby). The reason Liam is not everyone there is not obvious that has been sent to Cora from their past lives in the 19th century Ireland to make sure she falls in love with her fate romantic partner, Finn (Evan Roderick).
In essence, we have a period drama, the police procedural and whodunnit murder mystery, all of which happen at the same time, with a plot wrapped in another at all times. This will make much more sense when you see it, and I promise the line between a satisfactory payment and having enough clues to crack without things being too confusing is an ideal balance. After all, this is Hallmark movie, you can probably take a good guess at how the series ends.
But while the ending binds some loose threads, it really means we are traveling Providence falls Too good? I think it’s a world that is too rich to give up, and when I put this into the crew, they already had their own ideas for a return.
Providence Falls could continue to exist in the broader characteristic universe
Look at
“I hope [Providence Falls returns]It’s a fun universe, ”Star Roderick tells me.” I think there’s an opportunity to bring back Destiny’s angels and that’s the show’s rock. I mean, it would be a really, really cool concept that goes on if the fans love it. “
As for me, Roderick’s elevator height is a Hallmark Goldmine. Angels of Destiny Storyline could be used for absolutely any character we have met in the last few decades, and could even work in connection with continued shows such as The chicken eggsAt When it calls the heart and The way home. Anyone who has a dodgy run-in or awkward story gets a chance of redemption, even if they have to die to do so.
Granted, the number of people who have died in Hallmark projects is slim to none, which means fresh recruits like Liam may need to be prepared for Providence falls to continue. But if the angels and the main herd do not come back (their stories have basically been wrapped up, after all), there is still the city itself. All we love about shows like Virgin River and Sullivan’s crossing Now sitting in Hallmark’s lap and they would be silly not to use it.
Do Providence falls Do the legs now have a springboard for a larger ongoing series? I definitely say. Of course, the same story can’t be replicated but if Hallmark wants to repeat the out-of-the-box success with The way home or find a rival to Virgin RiverThey best start listening to Roderick’s idea.
