Pakistan Muslim League (N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday said it is encouraging that all political parties in parliament are united on issues of national defense and security.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, head of the PML-N-parliamentary party in the Senate and chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, today in Raiwind.

Nawaz Sharif said this role as parliamentarians will promote national cohesion and create an atmosphere of unity and solidarity among the people.

Senator Siddiqui oriented Sharif about the execution of the PML-N Parliament Party in the Senate.

He also mentioned the decision that expressed unity to national defense, which was prepared with mutual consultation and adopted unanimously in the upper house.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also said that although Dissens is the beauty of democracy, it is commendable to set aside all the differences for the major cause of the national defense.
