ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court remained operational during its winter session, with benches functioning from 18 December to 31 December 2025 at its headquarters, Islamabad and branch registries in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.
Even during the temporary session, cases were regularly instituted, determined and decided at the headquarters and all registries. In total, 646 cases were brought, 672 cases were taken up for consideration, and 419 cases were decided nationally.
Benches dealt with urgent and scheduled cases in accordance with laid down procedures.
