The Senate unanimously adopted a decision that praises the armed forces for their successful behavior of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and deliver a strong response to Indian aggression during the recent military confrontation.

The resolution presented by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday praised the Pakistani army, Air Force and the nation as a whole for their unity and resilience in the light of external threats.

“The house pays tribute to the rich tribute to Pakistan -armed forces for providing a decisive answer to India and completing Operation Bunyanum Marsoos with professional expertise,” it states.

The document confirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional and global peace while firmly rejecting India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and called it a threat to Pakistan’s national security.

It also repeated support for the solution of Kashmir -Tvisten in accordance with the United Nations Security Council’s resolutions and required peaceful dialogue.

The Senate condemned Indian attacks on mosques and innocent civilians during the conflict and described such acts as violations of international law.

The dissolution also expressed gratitude to the Pakistani people “to set aside political differences and demonstrate national unity” and expanded special recognition to the Pakistani Air Force for its role in the operation.

It concluded by warning that any future Indian misadventure would continue to receive a robust and full-spectrum response from Pakistan.

Earlier this week, the National Assembly also unanimously adopted a decision that praised the armed forces for their “exemplary professionalism, vigilance and against” by defending the country’s sovereignty in response to unprovoked Indian aggression.

The resolution paid tribute to the military’s “extraordinary restraint and responsibility”, which described the answer to Indian strikes as “measured and appropriate.”

Pakistan and India Army

Pakistan and India agreed on a full and immediate ceasefire on Saturday after days of intense military exchanges that raised fears of a full scale conflict between the two nuclear armed neighbors.

The message was first made by US President Donald Trump and later confirmed by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Indian Secretary of State S Jaispankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The fluid’s ceasefire came after missile attack, drone penetration and retaliatory operations across the border.

Tensions flared between Pakistan and India, after attack in Pahagam, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). India accused Pakistan-based elements without providing evidence, but Islamabad rejected the claim.

India responded by closing the Wagah border, revoking Pakistani Visa and suspending the Indus Waters Treaty -Moves Pakistan labeled as a “act of war.”

The conflict was intensified with India’s missile attack and drone penetration as it launched its Operation Sindoor. Pakistan’s military launched Operation Bunyanum Marsoos as retaliation and announced that it had put down five Indian jet-air-inclusive Rafales and captured 77 Israeli-made Harop drones.

After diplomatic intervention led by Washington, both sides agreed to stop military activity across land, air and sea. Hours after the ceasefire, however, fresh skirts were reported along both sides of the line with control.
