The timing of a joint sitting of Parliament that was scheduled for Monday (today) has been changed. According to a spokesman for the National Assembly’s secretariat, the joint meeting will now be held at 3 pm instead of 10.30 am.
The timing of the joint meeting has been changed by President Asif Ali Zardari. The President will address the joint session of Parliament, Radio Pakistan said. In the second parliamentary year of the 16th NA, which ended on 17 February, 46 bills were passed into law, including 40 government and six private members’ bills. 27 resolutions were also adopted during the year.
