The US Ministry of Education has launched Title IX studies of athletic associations in California and Minnesota after saying they would ignore President Donald Trump’s executive order to keep transnry athletes out of girls and women’s sports.
The Minnesota State High School League Announced Thursday that it will continue to allow transking athletes to compete against girls despite Trump’s executive order to probable them from doing so.
It came only a few days after California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) said it will continue to follow the state’s law that allows athletes to participate as the gender they identify as.

“Minnesota State High School League and California Interscholastic Federation are free to engage in all the meaningless virtue signals they want, but at the end of the day they must comply with federal legislation,” said Craig Trainor, acting assisting secretary of civil rights.
“(Office of Civil Rights’) Chicago and San Francisco Regional offices will conduct corrected studies of both organizations to ensure that female athletes in these states are treated with the dignity, respect and equality that Trump administration requires. I will remind these Organizations This story does not look friendly on units and says that actively opposed the enforcement of federal civil rights laws that protect women and girls from discrimination and harassment.
The Department of Education added that state laws do not disregard federal laws of discrimination so that the associations are subject to investigations.
Trump signed the executive order of national girls and women on Sports Day celebrating female athletes in women’s sports and those obliged to provide equal access to sports for all women.

The Order states that “It is the US policy to abolish all means of educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic options” and to take “all appropriate actions to affirms to protect all female athletic options and all-kingdom creation rooms and thereby give them Equal opportunities guaranteed in title IX in the 1972 Education Changes Act. “
Before Trump signed the order on Wednesday, the White House said press secretary Karoline Leavitt that part of the motivation behind Trump’s executive order would be to create a “preclim campaign” for the international Olympic committee (IOC) and NCAA to follow and prevent translowing athletes from compete in women’s sports.
In response to Trump’s order, NCAA changed its policy, which was in place since 2010, to reject transnry athletes from competing against women, which required them to compete based on the gender of their birth.
