US President Donald Trump hosts a crypto summit on March 7, announced the White House.
Crypto of the White House and Ai Czar David Sacks and Bo Hines, the CEO of a working group on digital assets, will run the meeting, although Trump will talk at the summit, a press release on Friday.
“Participants will include prominent founders, CEOs and investors from the crypto industry as well as members of the president’s working group on digital assets,” the release said.
The summit comes almost a month after sacks with congress leaders gave their first public remarks like Trump’s crypto -czar.
“We will keep this innovation on land in the United States,” he said at the press conference on February 4. “Financial assets are destined to become digital, just as any analog industry has become digital, and we want value creation to happen in the United States, rather than giving it away to other countries.”
The White House did not name the other participants of the summit.
Friday’s announcement ends a busy week for the crypto industry. Earlier in the day, a federal judge at Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposal signed his case against Coinbase.
Joe Lubin, CEO of Ethereum Incubator Consensys, and Cameron Winklevoss, co -founder of Exchange Gemini, both said earlier this week that SEC informed their respective companies that it would shoot its investigations in these companies.
SEC also filed his case against the Tron Foundation and founder Justin Sun.
“After the former administration, which was unfairly prosecuted by the digital asset space, President Trump’s political vision represents a new era of digital financial technology,” the press release states. “The administration is obliged to provide a clear legislative framework that enables innovation and protection of financial freedom.”
