As Pakistan struggles with one of the deadliest monsoon disasters in recent memory, messages of condolence and solidarity are poured in from all over the world.
As the nation grieved, world leaders expanded their sympathy and support.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed in a condolence letter to President Asif Ali Zardari grief and grief over the loss of precious life in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Putin conveyed heartfelt sympathy and compassion for the deceased families and wanted a quick recovery to the wounded. The Russian president also expressed the best wishes for the affected families.
Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi expressed inner compassion and sympathy with the government and people in Pakistan over the loss of life caused by floods and heavy rain.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said the kingdom was in full solidarity with Pakistan during this tragic natural disaster and expanded his support for the victims’ families. It further conveyed the best wishes to the rapid improvement of the wounded in the accident.
Prime Minister of Japan Ishiba Shigeru expressed deep grief over the loss of life in the devastating floods of northern Pakistan.
The Japanese Prime Minister said, in his condolence announcement, that he was “deeply sad” to learn about the tragic deaths and expanded his prayers for the victims along with heartfelt sympathy with the deprived families, according to the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad on Saturday.
“On behalf of Japan’s government, I pray for the victims’ souls and expand my deepest compassion to the surviving families. I would also like to express my sincere wishes for the rapid recovery of the wounded,” said Prime Minister Ishiba.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic Turkiye expressed in a statement on Saturday deep grief over the loss of life caused by devastating floods in Pakistan. The ministry conveyed heartfelt compassion to the government and people in Pakistan and prayed for Allah’s grace over those who lost their lives in the accident.
