- Baseus reveals three new headphone products on IFA 2025
- Named INSPIRE series, it includes the world’s first double driver open earplugs
- Also contains standard real wireless earplugs and ANC-over-ear cans
Baseus has revealed three new headphones on IFA 2025, including the world’s first double driver, open earplugs. All of these products must be launched today, September 4th.
Named Inspire series is the three products as follows: Inspire XC1, the aforementioned world’s first double driver open earplugs; Inspire XH1, a pair of noise -canceling headphones, and INSPIRE XP1, a pair of noise -canceling real wireless earplugs with a eared fit. All three have ‘Sound of Bose’, with an audio profile set by the headphone giant.
Inspire XC1 Open earplugs are powered by double drivers, a 10.8 mm dynamic driver for low frequencies and a knowls balanced luminaire driver to mid-high frequencies, which is said to be a world first for the open earplug.
They have Hi-Res Audio Support with LDAC certification that supports up to 192 KHz/24-bit wireless transmission, and there is also support for Dolby Spatial Audio for more immersive listening.
The XC1 also boasts up to 40 hours of playing time from the case, with up to eight hours per year. Fee, which sets them up there with the best open earplugs in that sense but not quite Besting Oneodio Openrok Pro, our current choice for the best open earplugs for the life of the battery.
They are IPX7 water repellent and boast an alleged wind noise reduction of up to 25 km/h with a four-way MIC-array powered by AI for calls. Inspire XC1 launch to $ 129 / € 149.99 (approximately £ 129 / AU $ 266), putting them in the same region as Shokz Openrun Pro 2.
Next is the Inspire XH1, Baseus’ entry into the competitive world of the best noise -canceling headphones. The XH1 also has sound at Bose, Support Hi-Res sound with LDAC and Dolby spatial sound treatment. They come with adaptive active noise cancellation that is claimed to be able to reduce noise by -48DB, making them potentially a good option for aircraft and commuter.
The heading for XH1 Here is the life of the battery, which Baseus says offers up to 100 hours of playing time with ANC OFF and 65 hours with ANC on. This would actually beat Cambridge Audio Melomania P100S, our current choice for Best for Battery Life in Our Best Headphones Guide (they offer 100 hours ANC ON and 60 hours ANC OFF). XH1 is set to launch to $ 149 / € 169.99 (approx. £ 146 / AU $ 302).
Finally, the Inspire XP1 Baseus’ new entry into the extremely busy True Wireless Earbud market. These earplugs are again Bose set, supports Dolby spatial sound and has adaptive ANC, which is claimed to reduce noise up to -50DB. The XP1 is marked with eight hours of playing time (ANC OFF) and 45 hours with the case. This earplugs is not very high, but the number, including the case, puts them in competition with JBL Live Beam 3, our current choice for best earplugs for battery life (12 hours of playing time with 48 hours from the case) in our best earplugs.
The XP1 is set to launch for $ 129 / € 149.99 (approximately £ 129 / AU $ 266), putting them in the same price range as Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 and JBL Live Beam 3.
Price vs Performance
Baseus has gone pretty aggressive with its pricing, with Inspire Range Matching or undercut many similarly specified rivals. Inspire XC1 is the real headliner here and shakes things up on the open earplug market by offering double drivers, which can give it than sonic advantage over other open earplugs. Open earplugs have exploded in popularity in 2025, so it seems that Baseus will come in at the right time if it is a spiced sound profile.
Elsewhere, the XH1 wireless headphones can be a budget negotiation if they can pull their proposed battery performance for the price, but the five -star Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 will take some stroke even though XH1 is $ 90 / £ 50 cheaper on average.
The XP1 looks like they have the hardest time for the three products. They are not only close to the price of JBL Live Beam 3 and Cambridge Audio Buds, which I have already mentioned, but also like Bose Quietcomfort earplugs (2024). But if the performance is there as well as battery life, and if the baseus can become aggressive with price reductions, they may find an edge.
