As if the best streaming services’ October plans had not already been packed enough, Hulu has announced an equally large list of new movies to be added to the platform during the month. To help you narrow down your surveillance list, I have chosen three movies that I think you shouldn’t miss.

Edward Scissorhands (1990)

Not only is Edward Scissorhands One of Tim Burton’s best work, but it’s one of the best movies to welcome October. Trust me when you first see it you will crawl back for more.
In this dark and alternative spin on a classic adventure, Edward (Johnny Depp) is the creation of a scientist (Vincent Price) who dies before ending him. Now Edward lives alone in a castle on top of a tray of clusters of metal scissors as hands, but despite his extreme appearance, Edward is quiet and gentle – just watch out for sharp edges.
When a saleswoman called Pen Boggs (Dianne Weist) finds him, she is with Edward and leads him home to his family, a lot to their dismay. Now left to adapt to his new surroundings, Edward becomes a local celebrity and likes a special taste for PEG’s daughter Kim (Winona Ryder), but when he is false accused of a crime, the city turns against him, but Kim is the only one who sees him for who he really is.
DIE HARD (1988)

Die hard‘s status as a Christmas movie has long been discussed among movie fans, but I think it’s safe to say that the majority of us would actually call this a Christmas movie. Although it doesn’t quite have the nice and healthy feeling of a typical Christmas movie, it takes place during the high season.
New York cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to LA to spend Christmas holidays with his wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) and daughter, and to join the Christmas table in Business Holly. While he was at the party, a group of robbers taking over by his pits takes the building and holding the residents hostage – all except John who manages to escape.
John is aware that he is the only one who can save the hostages from danger, and enters a do-or-die game to help defeat the thief’s gang.
The Cabin in the Woods (2011)

The cabin in the forest Balances horror with sci-fi and thriller tropes, making it a true triple threat. It is also a nice and lightweight watch with a twist -ending that will leave your jaw on the floor – and there is also a surprising acting.
Five college students take a trip to a secluded cabin for a weekend trip away, but what starts like a normal holiday becomes somewhat darker. When they arrive, they notice that strange things are happening and are convinced that something is lurking in the walls until they accidentally wake up on a gang of kills zombies as they pour through artifacts in the basement of the cabin.
Their struggle for survival becomes harder, but they soon find that there is more than meets the eye for what lurks in the cabin.
