Islamabad:
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interreligious Harmony announced on Monday that more than 114,500 applications have been received so far under the Government Hajj scheme 2026, which left only about 3,500 seats unemployed.
The ministry’s spokesman Muhammad Umar Butt said the nominated banks have been asked to continue to receive applications until the remaining quota is filled.
He called for intention to have intent to submit their applications at the nearest designated bank branches at the earliest. “The process is closed immediately when the last 3,500 seats are taken,” the spokesman added.
