Small parts of text are visible in the effect which was collected by One Eagle-Eyed Redditor.
DLC2 is entitled “Terran Armada”. From R/Starfield
It sounds ‘Terran Armada’, though what this actually means is currently a bit of a mystery. However, it has not prevented fans from speculating, with many who predict that it is the name of the game’s next expansion.
In a science fiction context, the word ‘terra’ refers to the ground – so it seems that it may be the setting of the downloadable content (DLC).
“The name itself, Terran Armada, suggests something related to the inhabitants of the earth,” replied a fan in the Reddit thread. “With how much is guard at the emigration from Earth and the seemingly living beings that left the temples, there is something of a prequel -like story there.”
“I always found the idea of having Starborn tried to turn what happened to the ground that is captivating. It would open doors to great moral dilemmas,” commented another.
Of course, it’s all just speculations – but I would expect to learn some more details of what this can mean in the coming weeks and months.
Starfield is available now for PC, Xbox Series X and Series S.
