If you are struggling to secure a Nintendo Switch 2 pre -ordering, we are here to help. After a short delay, pre -order inventory goes live in the United States on April 24. And hopefully it will have a knock-on effect of more stock being available in regions such as the UK, where it has been particularly difficult to track a pre-order.
So what can you do about it if you are especially interested in learning how to pre -order Nintendo Switch 2? The stock situation (or lack of them) right now may seem hopeless, but there are things you can do to maximize your chances of successfully putting a pre -order before launching on June 5.
That’s what I’m here for today. I managed to get a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order in the early doors, and as one that has covered hardware launches and pre-ordered events for almost half a decade, I am in a decent position to help you point you in the right direction. Let us go into these Nintendo Switch 2 pre -order tips without further entering.
Update your favorite dealers

When you look at the Nintendo Switch 2 pre -orders at your Go -To dealer – be it that Walmart or Best Buy in the US or Argos and a lot in the UK – it is tempting to throw the towel when you see that the stock is sold out.
However, it is important to note that the stock can come and go in waves, and there are plenty of people who get cold feet and cancel their pre -orders completely. It can take some web page -wrestling, especially when you reach the box, but it is completely possible to be lucky here and take advantage of fresh stock waves or others’ canceled orders.
Sign up for retailer mailing lists

Registration for retailers’ mailing lists is a great way to be among the first to know about new waves with Switch 2 pre -order portfolio. Most retailers have an opportunity for this if they are currently out of the Nintendo Switch 2 share. Some may even offer shoppers that click to save pages via E -mail.
Make sure you have messages activated as well for your preferred E -Mail client. Whether you are on your computer or on your phone, this will ensure that you can answer as soon as possible when these e emails come in.
Do your best to prepare your dealer accounts

I will not necessarily ask you to explain a whole lot of different retailers as it can be time -consuming and quite stressful. Instead, if you already have accounts for retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, Argos or Much, it pays dividends to make sure they are in good form of a quick and stress -free pre -order when and when the stock becomes available.
The very first thing you want is to spot in stock at your preferred dealer, only to fumble the account sign up process with a forgotten password or CAPTCHA Security check. Time is the essence here, of course. So to make sure you are already logged in – or have your login credentials close to your hand – saves you time and can be the difference.
My Nintendo store is a good relapse option

Currently, the official My Nintendo store allows users with a Nintendo account to register their interest in a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order. Just go to the destination page, log in with your Nintendo account, either select the console itself or Mario Kart World bundle, and click ‘Register interest.’
It is important to note that this does not guarantee you a pre -order lot. However, you must definitely register your interest regardless of the fact that the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-ordering situation remains serious with regard to the total stock. As a last resort, it is risk -free and can be the difference between you that ensures this pre -order or not.
To buy the bundle is preferred

If you manage to find a list in stock for the Nintendo Switch 2 console in itself, it may be too tempting to get your pre-order in then and there. But in most cases I would highly recommend trying to secure the console bundle that includes a digital copy of Mario Kart World .
Why? It all comes to pricing. The Nintendo Switch 2 console on its own costs $ 449.99 / £ 395.99. The bundle in the meantime is purchased for $ 499.99 / £ 429.99.
In consideration of that Mario Kart World costs $ 79.99 / £ 74.99 by itself, you stand to save a ton of cash by choosing the bundle. In the US you save $ 30 and about £ 41 if you’re in the UK. You can then pocket the extra change and potentially put it against a Nintendo Switch 2 accessories such as Switch 2 Pro Controller, Switch 2 camera or Nintendo Switch Online subscription if you need one.
Go to your local dealer in person

Shopping online is one thing, but on the way in the store is also a perfectly viable option. For example, it seems that British retailer Currys is not bothering with online Switch 2 proposals at all, calling for shoppers to visit their local outlets instead.
Recording interest by closing your name personally with a dealer is not such a common practice as it used to be, but it is still worth trying a chance that the staff can put a device aside for you when stock comes in.
