Karachi:
SINDH Assembly Parliamentary Committee has decided to have the papers from students who have reservations over the results of 11th grade controlled by a third party.
A meeting of the committee to investigate the results of the board of intermediate education Karachi (BIEK) was held under Presidency of Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah. Opposition leader Ali Khursheedi, Jamaat-e-Islami Parliamentary member Muhammad Farooq and other members also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the term (Thurs) for the committee was completed and it was decided that the students’ results would undergo a third -party survey. In addition, the board administration will give a briefing in the committee’s next meeting.
The committee assured that no injustice will be done against the students.
In a speech with the media after the meeting, the provincial Minister of Education Sardar Shah said that legislation on the assembly’s decision on the appointment of university rector is prepared. The question of whether a principal can be a bureaucrat has been referred to the standing committee of the assembly.
The complaint from the affected students will also be made part of this meeting, while the directors and chairmen of all four boards will also be invited to the next meeting.
Opposition leader Ali Khursheedi declared that the committee was composed by keeping an eye on the student’s future. The responsibility for examining any problems in the results was handed over to the committee.
He continued to say that the committee’s Thurs were discussed at the meeting and the conditions were established for the investigation.
The goal is to tackle the complaints of students who have been subjected to injustices in terms of their results.
