Apple is in front of 2025 Pride Month celebrations with an early reveal of a wild new watch band and some lively wallpaper.
Pride Month, which happens every June and celebrates LGBTQ+ community, is always a month that embraces a number of colors, but this month’s Apple Pride Month collection adds a VRI and nods to the “individuality of all members of the LGBTQ+ community,” Apple said in a release.
Apple explained that the colors of the rainbow within each sports edition -Band starts as individual color stripes. The tapes are assembled by hand and compressed in their final forms. Apple claims that this means, like people, no two bands will be the same.
These colors can also be found on Pride Month Dynamic Apple Watch Face and with special backgrounds for iPhone and iPad. Colors and ribbons move on the screen as users and carriers move.
The clock face and backgrounds are free, but the band available in small-to-media lengths, medium to large lengths and in 40 mm, 42 mm and 46 mm clock facial widths costs $ 49.
The band will be sold next week, and the backgrounds and Watch Face will soon arrive with platform updates in iOS 18.5, iPados 18.5 and Watchos 11.5.
This latest Pride Band And Face arrives as Apple celebrates 10 years of Apple Watch, a laptop that has become more than just a watch, but also an important platform to support health, wellness and fitness (along with personal style and perhaps a social consciousness).

Apple’s decision to move forward with a Pride Month Collection in the United States is remarkable as some major tech companies (watching you, Google and Amazon) have scaled diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts with movements affecting LGBTQ+ population.
Apple has not done it and seems to signal that it will continue its support for diversity, justice and inclusion. The release includes a line noting that “Apple is proud to support financial organizations serving LGBTQ+ society.”
