Casetify is known for some pretty epic cases thanks to impressive collaborations with like sport leagues, Disney, Netflix and countless others. As for the latest ‘Co-Lab’ you can add to the list, it goes to Andy Warhol-specific a partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts.
Of course, the classic can of Campbell’s soup is transformed into several fun case design. What really caught our attention, however, is Co-Labs assumes Andy Warhol’s banana, which was shown on the album cover for Velvet Underground’s first LP. It is a classic for sure, and Casetify’s acquisition of this is both ultra-fun, a significant tribute and somewhat impractical.
But again, some of the most funny telephone cases are more voice points than actually protective.
The Andy Warhol Banana Collection Phone Box is simply a large case that takes the shape of a banana. It still gives you access to the power buttons and volume rockers, even if we are not quite sure to charge. However, considering that it is made of silicone, you must be able to easily remove the phone.
It also comes with three stickers that can be removed and reassembled to adjust the case a little. While the case itself is inspired by Andy Warhol, you can also use it to live out of your dream of having a banana phone or to do something that can bile the word game.
Maybe most importantly, it allows you to pay tribute to superstars and rock stars with a really nice case. Now, if you want something a little more practical and, say, standard size, Casetify has a few more regular iPhone cases with Take of Andy Warhol’s iconic banana on the back. These include Banana pattern boxthat place several of the iconic works and it called Banana PalaceWhere you can peel the top of the banana back to reveal a pulsating, warm pink look at the inside of the fruit.
As you may have guessed, these cases follow Casetify’s normal pricing strategy as they are not ultra-cheap. But you get what you pay for here. The oversized banana gear box is $ 106 for most phones, while the more standard cases land around $ 60 and fall within the brand’s ‘Impact’ box setup. This means it can survive up to 8.2 foot drops – at least that’s what Casetify promises.
