- A researcher claims that a DOGE -Employee’s data was found in four infoTeals -logfiles
- A security expert claims the employee was not actually hacked
- Since Waltz’s Signalfiasco, the US Government Employees’ Security Hygiene is being investigated
A DOGE WORKSHOP HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HUD HAVE HAVE HUD HAVE HUD HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE HAVE BUSINED BY INFOSTEALS Malware Malware on several occasions, claims a researcher who suggests that the US government’s security lapses far past Mike Waltz’s Signalfiasco. However, not everyone agrees with this assessment.
As picked up by the register, recently a security researcher named Micah Lee looked more closely at the security position for a Kyle Schutt, allegedly a 37-year-old “Doge software engineer”. Wired also reported that Schutt was “on the CISA staff”.
Lee claims Schutt’s personal computer was compromised by infoTeals -Malware at least four times so far and said they found his data in four different infoTeals logs.
InfoStealing Malware
“Stealer logs are collections of URLs paired with usernames and passwords, assembled using malware. If malware infects your device, it can do things like log your keystrokes or record everything that has been entered into forms in your web browser – builds a list of your usernames and passwords for different sites – and then send this data back to the person that controls Malware. Lee.
Lee also said he doesn’t know enough about these events – when they happened and if they took place on Schutt’s personal or work units (or a single device that does both).
The media was quick to retrieve this information, but not everyone agrees with Lee’s assessment. For example, Alon Gal, CTO and co -founder of Hudson Rock, an Israeli cyber security company that specializes in cyber crime information, does not be infected by malware and believes that Lee’s research does not matter:
“I checked the data myself, and that’s not true,” said crazy in a LinkedIn post. “When the article has been picked up and is currently becoming viral, I figured I would make it clear that Kyle Schutt was actually not infected by malware,” he added.
